    About Me
I'm the quiet guy observing life from the corner of the room. Don't mistake me for a wallflower though, I like to get out on the dance floor every once in a while. I'm pretty laid back and extremely loyal to my friends. Nice to a fault, is how I like to describe it. My outlook on life is outwardly optimistic and inwardly pessimistic. Cynicism and sarcasm run rampantly through my head, frolicking in the flowered meadows of my thoughts. I have an extremely overactive and visual imagination.
    Who I'd Like to Meet
Superficial, plastic people. If you are one of these... stay away. Victims of Pop-Culture & Organized Religion need not apply. If you have interesting views, are open minded, have a good sense of humor then you are most definitely welcome to engage in conversation with me.
Famous people I would love to meet: George Lucas (Love the old movies, but man what were you thinking?), Maynard James Keenan, Jim Lee, Billy Corgan, Penelope Cruz, Charlise Theron, Harrison Ford... the list goes on.
These are a few things that I get worked up about:
Architecture, Art (Mostly Abstract, Impressionist, & Surrealist), Body Modification (Tatoos & Piercings), Computer Hardware, Gadgets, Girls (of the cute variety), Graphic Design, History (Mostly Pre Industrial Revolution), Movies, Music, Philosophy (Eastern), Politics (Anti-Right-Wing-Fundamentalist), Sub-Cultures (Rave Culture), Video Games

I'd prefer to see terms lengthened like 6 years for president for example, but only one term.

I think it should be a one term limit on all offices. There would be no need to worry about re-election then. But I also only see the democratic process as a vehicle through minarchism to get to what I want, which is anarchism. Which is why I support Paul's candidacy. Though he is only Republican is the most technical of terms. He is a libertarian who seeks to institute minarchism to lead to anarchy.

Ah I don't really like either party, at least not at a national level. Local politics are a bit different.

First year I was eligible to vote was 2000, I didn't vote for either Gore or Bush because I can't stand either one of them. 2004 I voted for Kerry. 2008, I grudgingly voted for McCain, though I don't really like him anymore either.

While sitting here and reading about physics, I had a realization that Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation would be an excellent, albeit cheesy, way to pick up cute physics majors and science geekettes

Taking into account that the force of attraction is equal to the mass of object 1 times that of object 2 divided by the distance between the objects squared, then we can deduce mathematically & scientifically that as the distance between those two objects is lessened then the

a gaze into the depths
a look into the recesses
the dark pools of your coffee colored eyes
made my breath rush away
in a blur of an evening
lost time to touching
the wonders of exploring the senses
eyes wide to the dancing lights
a night spent in sensual discovery
the wild euphoria of brushing fingers
lost to the music, called by the pumping bass
and the hands that belong to her, desire
for the pressure of her grasp...

Its funny how a dream can set the mood for an entire day. I had a dream that my Ex came crying to me that she missed me and wanted me back. She ended up in my arms and we had the kind of passionate sex that two people deeply in love who are separated for extended periods have. And then I awoke to an empty bed, whisps of her touch still clinging to my sleep fogged mind.

The funny thing is I don't want her back. When it ended, the hurt was so powerful that it tore a rift in my soul...
