Default Help with a new mother board anyone?

I'm about to build a new rig for production, and I'm looking for a motherboard without on board sound.

Heres what I need to support:

AMD 1800-2400 XP Processor
1-2 gigs of 2700 & up DDR Ram
2 HDDs ( non raid )
Firewire and USB
AGP
At least 3 PCI slots

I've done every search imaginable, but I have only come up with one board and the board didn't come with a very good rating, so if anyone knows a board out there that will work, please post a link here. Thanks!!

Pain, sorrow, despair, and ultimately loneliness.............. these are the only things to truly love me. Melodrumatic for life.

I know nothing about current gen AMD boards, but none of those requests seem out of the ordindary, what exactly are you not finding on the boards you see?

As for onboard sound, why limit yourself only to boards w/o it? Just disable it if the board meets all the other requirements.

Its not the components I listed that are the problem, its finding a board with out the on board sound. I've had boards from Asus and SOYO that all had the on board sound, and even after disabling the sound in the BIOS, there were still problems with the soundcard after some time. A friend has a board with out on board sound, he's never had any problems with his soundcard ( we both run the Audigy Platinums ), but his board is for an AMD processor up to 800mhz and only takes PC 133 RAM. And he tried to find a newer board by the company, but he found nothing. I'm just hoping maybe someone saw a board out there, if not, then I'm stuck with disabling the sound in the BIOS.

you want any board based on the Nforce2 chipset it is the best chip set on the market for amd. unfortunately i think almost every version of it has on board sound so you would have to disable it.

but i can see how its a problem for other people..
