ahh, well the problem with full open warfare is after a few people get high level the game starts to get ruined when they camp the begining areas.

Not much a problem in eve because there is no money to be made targeting noobs.
Its all about money and power and control of territory and resources in eve. Shooting beginners will not give you any of that and thus you will not get anywhere in the game and you will have no fun.

Well problem is a bunch of people in these games only look for the gain of fucking with people, weirdly enough as much as i like fucking with people IRL i never have felt the urge to....dunno maybe they get some kinda validation from the pointless act. Not that i didn't like eve just the storyline didn't feel strong enough or strongly grab me.

Well there is not really much of a story for it because most of the story is created by the users. The stories of epic battles, espionage, assassination, the creation of massive seemingly unstoppable alliances and their destruction.

Sure.. it is not for everyone.. and that is another reason I like eve. WoW is made for everyone.

I don't want someone to hold my hand. I don't want someone telling me there is a level cap, and I don't want anyone telling me what I can and can not do. I just want the tools to do what I feel like doing..

LOL i like that but being anti-social i am not strongly minded to always search others out, so i have trouble finding groups that stay together long enough to do anything for me. I don't like things holding my hand but i do like having the ability to go off on my own or follow a set storyline start to finish...

Eve sounds really interesting to me. I just wish it wasn't all in space. I like SWG because you can do space and land. As far as PVP goes Ultima Online was all pvp. You could even attack people in cities, the guards would kill them, but you could, It was never much of a problem, and when people were being dicks, me and my buddies would get together and take shifts killing them for days until they quit or got the point.

Oh and as for the original topic. I might try out Star Trek, not sure yet.

Yeah, I think I would like it alright. Right now I'm pretty deep into Star Wars Galaxies though.

Perhaps its best I don't play another MMO. No good can come of this. :/

Remember kids: There is no 'I' in 'Orgasm'. Though there is an 'M'
Add me to MSN if you would, it's so shiny in there:
